What Have We Achieved – Progress So Far

The school does not receive any money from the Local Education Authority, although it is Ofsted inspected.

Funding is derived from the school shop (The Catherne Wheel at the Ferrers Centre, Leics) as well as

monetary and skilled contributions from parents and the community.

So far the school has:-

  • Raised £62,500
  • Obtained Planning Permission
  • Obtained Building Regulations
  • Relocated the village recycling facilties to create a new entrance.
  • Insulated the roof space of the existing school building.
  • Replaced old windows in the existing school with double glazed.
  • Intentions to build the shell of the extension in the summer of 2011.
